Oh no! A story!

Well, more of what you'd call a "crack pairing" than a story. Except it's totally true. Yes.
Professor Layton was a well-known and renowned puzzle solver, hailed for his critical thinking with every puzzle thrown at him. He knew this, although he took the praise modestly. He had an apprentice named Luke, who was with him the majority of the time he spends searching for new puzzles and mysteries to solve. Sometimes, though, Layton just wants a little time for himself and.. his puzzles.
"Ah, this is a tricky one!" he said. "But I think I'm starting to get the pattern here." He had been poring over this puzzle for hours, it seemed, and every close encounter was succeeded by an even closer one. Then, Layton smiled to himself, and said, "Puzzles like this are truly beautiful, and they only come around once in a long time," trailing off. He stared at all the notes of the puzzle studiously.
Layton looked up to a nearby window, and thought to himself. He was half distracted, but he was still able to make sense of more of the puzzle with each passing moment. Suddenly, he exclaimed, "Aha!" He started writing down more notes. After turning his head while looking at the notes for what seemed to be a few minutes, he thought excitedly to himself, It's Puzzle Time.
Luke opened the door to ask Professor Layton if he had a spare pillow for him, but accidentally watching his mentor, in terror and confusion, make out with the puzzle and notes he had taken with him in his room. Luke was never the same again. He even started kicking puppies.
Yeah, I dunno. I made it months ago, but... It's Puzzle Time.
